How do I get documents from the Sage RDP onto my main desktop?

Due to the nature of the RDP, we cannot drag and drop documents like before.

The only way to transfer documents from the RDP to your main desktop is to copy and paste documents across.

Recommended method:

In the Sage RDP, open File Explorer, create a New Folder on the Sage RDP Desktop. Do the same on your main desktop. You should have a new folder on each desktop with the same name. These folders will be used solely for transferring Files from the Sage RDP to your main Desktop.

When saving documents from Sage, make sure you are saving them into this new folder that you have made. Open the folder in the Sage RDP, copy the file you need. In your main desktop, open your other new folder and paste it into here.

This process allows you to move files from the RDP to your main desktop so that you can print and send files as attachments in emails.
